Decagram Pattern with Apple Seed
The Decagram Pattern with Apple Seed is created from the geometry of the Apple. The apple is made up of the geometry of the 5 and 10. The apple seeds form a pentagon and pentagram at its core. Surrounding the apple seed are 10 points which form the decagram and decagon. From this I have created the pattern linking each decagon which form pentagons and a star. I have the placed the Apple seed pattern central to the pentagon to highlight the inspiration for this pattern. The beauty of this geometry can only be seen when the apple is cut horizontal across the centre of its core.
